A NEW CURATE COMING TO ST SAVIOUR'S!
'After many years in ministry—preaching, working with children and schools, and supporting church school governance around the Diocese—I’m really looking forward to this next chapter.
Being ordained is the result of this journey, and my year at St Mellitus has helped prepare me in all sorts of ways to serve with you at St Saviour’s.
I’m married to Nikki, who’s an open water swimmer and Red Caps Lifeguard at Chalkwell Beach. Between us we have 16 grandchildren, so we’re especially interested in being involved with families as well as the church community.
I love the creativity of café church, and so I’m looking forward to working with you n making the most of the new kitchen space—there’s so much potential!
After our holiday, we’ll start getting to know you properly and I will be around on Sundays and Thursdays from 27 July.
My ordination is on 14 September, and then I’ll get properly started as a self-supporting curate.'
Please be praying for Mike and Nikki as they prepare to join us as a fellowship.
