Inter Church Caring

This local charity was founded over 25 years ago by members of St Saviour’s and Crowstone St George’s, our neighbouring free church. For many years they ran a care home in Palmerston Road but times change and this home has now had to close. The work of Inter Church goes on however.

Luncheon Club

Every Tuesday there is a Luncheon Club at 12noon held at Avenue Baptist Church and members of St Saviour’s help with this.

Saturday Morning Club

Every Saturday there is a drop in coffee morning held at Westcliff URC Church. A good number of disabled and elderly people attend this. There is a raffle and entertainment. This runs from 10am to 12 noon.
