10.00am Sunday Service

What is it?

The 10.00am service is our most popular Service and all ages are welcome. There are activities for children at the back of church.

10.00am Holy Communion Service

On 1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays we have a modern language service of Holy Communion. There is a sermon and we often follow a particular series to help us learn more about our faith.  The choir helps with the singing and we do quite a lot of singing at this service! For those who would appreciate it, a healing team is available to pray with you after Communion.

If you normally receive Communion in your own church then we welcome you to receive the bread and wine at St Saviour’s. Otherwise we encourage you to come forward at the appropriate time and have a blessing.

10.00am All Age Worship Service

The service on the second Sunday is shorter, just one hour, and more informal. This is our All Age Worship Service and we try to engage everyone in worship through music, craft, visual aids and creative forms of prayer. On the 4th Sunday, the service is a Breakfast Service for all the family, which is held in the church hall and includes a simple light meal within the informal worship.

10.00am Breakfast Service

Our Breakfast Service is held on the fourth Sunday of each month and is held in the Church Hall.                                                 It is designed for all the family, with craft and activities which help us explore a particular theme and think about what it means to follow Jesus in our every day lives.

How long does the service last?

Holy Communion lasts for about one and a quarter hours, All Age and Breakfast Services last for about one hour.

Refreshments

We serve refreshments after our 10.00am services,  either in the church or in the hall.  All are welcome to stay.

Children

At the 10.00am service an area is provided at the back of the church for children and babies to play. We love children and want to welcome them into the family of the church.

At Holy Communion Services on the 1st and 3rd Sunday activities for older Children are also available at the back of the  church
